INTRODUCTION

  Title: Lead Systems Engineer - Airport Systems Group.
  Responsible for airport enterprise domain knowledge, requirements development and management, and Information Systems architecture. Lead a 6 man airport enterprise architecture team.
  Instrumental in the development of the Airport Systems Integration Services offering by Harris Corporation. Developed the processes and procedures for documenting specific current and future airport information architectures. Information architecture definitions included business process models, Use Case models, object models, cost models, and integration benefit models. Provided airport customers with business cases for IT project funds procurement. Developed corporate airport systems domain knowledge and airport enterprise architecture knowledgebase through direct involvement with our prospective airport clients. Scheduled and facilitated JAD sessions at Washington Reagan Airport (DCA), Orlando International Airport (MCO), and Miami International Airport (MIA) for rapid acquisition of domain knowledge. Interviewed all levels of airport management from the Airport Manager/Director to the baggage handling foreman.
  Developed the program plans for MCO infrastructure upgrade during the addition of a new passenger terminal. Plans included resources, level of effort, preliminary cost estimates, and end-to-end task schedules.

  Role: Systems Integration and Test Team Leader - Voice Switching and Control System (communications system for FAA In-Flight Control Network. )
  Analyzed software discrepancies, directed corrective actions, coordinated resources and provided guidance to 31-member test team, partitioning work assignments for best use of available resource skill sets. Directed test procedure development using requirements based test cases. Also provided cost, schedule, and manpower planning; including earned value management of our work package.
  Developed and standardized the Systems Integration and Test SCR closure procedures and directed the use of on-line forms for SCR test procedures. Analyzed proposed software changes for unwanted side effects on VSCS, and developed / executed system tests as needed. Also Switching Systems Group Leader for VSCS development team.   Title: Systems Engineer
  Role: Systems Effectiveness Engineer. Task leader providing Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability support for the Space Station Audio Video Distribution System, the Payload Data Management System, and various classified defense systems hardware.
  Performed Failure Mode and Effects Analysis of pre-production designs helped reduce the cost of system test and provided fast analysis of component and system level test discrepancies. Work included application of Physics of Failure techniques for development and production test discrepancies to determine root cause failure analysis. These techniques included electron microscopy, and spectrographic analysis.
