Meet the Actors

"Let's follow the Lego Brick Road!"

Toto and Dorothy

Dorothy is a rather popular Lego movie star.  She played the main role in 'The Lizard of Oz', and did a wonderful job. It was such a spectacular, amazing, breathtaking movie, that she has many, many fan clubs now.
In the movie, Dorothy was accompanied by a werewolf playing as Toto. A werewolf was used for the role because we didn't have a Lego dog at the time we filmed the movie. So we had to make do with a werewolf. At least it was a tame one...

Movies Dorothy appears in: Lizard of Oz, Dungeons and Dragons, Evolution, How Lego Movies are Made, Legend of Zero, Deranged Lego Movie, Deranged Lego Movie 2.

Movies Toto appears in: Lizard of Oz, Dungeons and Dragons, How Lego Movies are Made, Deranged Lego Movie.

WAZZZZUUUUUUUPPPPP?!?!

The Alligator (a.k.a. Lizard of Oz)

"WAZZZZUUUUUUUPPPPP?!?!...... Dude." If you thought you knew alligators, think again. The great Lizard of Oz is your ultimate punk-rock, motorcycle-gang, cool dude.

He is notorious for his arrogant attitude and selfishness, as well as his love of motorcycles. Unfortunately, after he received the Wicked Witch's Harley-Davidson in the Lizard of Oz movie, he has not been seen since

Movies Alligator appears in: Lizard of Oz, Dungeons and Dragons, Evolution.

[girly scream]

The Cowardly Tiger

This is probably the most cowardly tiger you'll ever meet. It was incredibly brave of him to act in the Lizard of Oz, because he's very camera shy.

The reason his mouth is open in the picture on the left, is because he's screaming. He gets scared when he sees a camera flash. He was one of the more difficult actors to work with on the movie.

Movies The Cowardly Tiger appears in: Lizard of Oz, Great Balls of Fire, The Treasure Idol.

"I can't be nice for 5 minutes"

The Tin Man:

As we all know, the Tin Man is heartless. Because of this, as quoted in the movie Lizard of Oz, he "can't be nice for five minutes" (that's on his good days).

Many of us wonder about his lack of a heart. How did he lose it? Where is it now? "There is one simple answer," says the Tin Man, "I left my heart in San Francisco." Unfortunately, because he has no heart, he can't be sad about it and therefore has no desire to go back and get it.

Movies The Tin Man appears in: Lizard of Oz, Evolution, Treasure Idol, Deranged Lego Movie 2.

"In one hour you will die! Have a nice day!"

The Wicked Witch and her Hover Monkey

The Wicked Witch is a rather ignorant villain, who is very possessive over her beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  Seeing as we could find no Lego flying monkeys, we put a twist on the traditional story of Oz, and 'modernized' the monkey to give him unique hovering abilities.

The Hover-Monkey acts as the Witch's henchman, and does all the dirty work for her. Although the Witch was melted with a magnifying glass in the movie Lizard of Oz, she was thereafter resurrected, and lives on. ... and on.... and on... and on... and... on...

Movies The Wicked Witch appears in: Lizard of Oz.

Movies The Hover Monkey appears in: Lizard of Oz, Treasure Idol, Evolution.

"The Outlaws went That Way!"

Miner Bob

Miner Bob has a rather weird personality. He carries a pickaxe all the time and drives Lego mining machine, because it all makes him look very important.

Miner Bob has starred in most of the Lego movies we've made, either as a prominent character, or as a background extra. This isn't because we really need Miner Bob in these movies. He just kind of invites himself over puts himself into a scene whether we ask him to or not. He does it because it makes him look important!

Movies Miner Bob appears in: Like, Every single Lego Reel Movie. Ever.

"Don't tick me off!"

Miner Ted:

Miner Ted is a quiet character with a busload of hidden personality. Miner Ted is typically not the center of attention (nor does he want to be), but his calm persona and dry sense of humor keep the Lego actors in a good mood, most of the time.

As long as you don't tick him off, Miner Ted is as happy as a clam. (DON'T tick him off!)

Movies Miner Ted appears in: Great Balls of Fire, Deranged Lego Movie 2.

"I love animals....When they're mounted on my wall"

Hunter the Hunter

His name is Hunter, and he's a hunter. Confusing, isn't it?

He thinks he's a big game hunter, but seeing as he's only about 2 inches tall, he wouldn't stand much chance against a real big game animal. But he doesn't know that...yet.

Movies Hunter the Hunter appears in: Treasure Idol, Lizard of Oz, Dungeons and Dragons, Evolution, Great Balls of Fire, Deranged Lego Movie, Legend of Zero, Deranged Lego Movie 2.

"I wish I could dance without this twist tie around my neck!"

Ballet Bruce

[Disclaimer: Please excuse the rather morbid depiction of Ballet Bruce wearing a noose. The twist tie is in fact our "high tech" method of enabling Bruce to perform his magnificent ballet moves.]

To most people, Bruce appears to be your average, manly construction worker, but in reality he leads a double life as a world class ballerina. Ballet Bruce has only been caught dancing on tape once, and the video was added to the Outtakes of the movie "How Lego Movies are Made".

Unfortunately, his wonderful act caught the janitor by surprise, and he was thereafter hospitalized for shock and a concussion. Generally speaking, though, Bruce leads a normal life, and enjoys working out, playing video games, and dancing.

Movies Ballet Bruce appears in: How Lego Movies are Made, Dungeons and Dragons.

"I'm McMellon and I'm gellin' like a fellon"

McMellon the Felon:

McMellon the Felon is surely the most creative criminal ever known to the Lego world. Although his crimes seem trivial, he is always being chased by the Lego police.

Unfortunately for him, McMellon's escapes typically end with him getting caught by the police after a wild (and sometimes humiliating) chase.

Movies McMellon appears in: Great Balls of Fire, Deranged Lego Movie 2.

"I'm special. Deal with it"

Larry the Magical Businessman:

This is no ordinary businessman. He's special. He's cool. He's magical. No one knows exactly why Larry is Magical, but the fact has never been questioned and it never will. We leave it to your imagination to decide why he's magical.

Larry was 'born' during our Great Balls of Fire music video; one of the animators moved him from the back of the crowd to the front without animating the walking sequence, which annoyed the mouse-clicker. There was an argument, and the animator announced that Larry was magical, and he could go wherever he wanted without having to walk there. The mouse-clicker couldn't argue with that, hence, Larry the Magical Businessman was born.

Movies Larry appears in: Great Balls of Fire, How Lego Movies are Made, Dungeons and Dragons, Deranged Lego Movie 2.

"Amazing! I just randomly appeared here!"

Lisa the Lego-Lady:

Lisa is your Lego news reporter. Her passion is to tell stories and tell exactly how they happened. Her first debut was in the Lego documentary, where she explained how stop-motion animation works.

She is planning on appearing in more movies in the future, but in the meantime, she stays busy traveling the Lego world and finding weird stories to report on.

Movies Lisa appears in: How Lego Movies are Made, Legend of Zero, Deranged Lego Movie, Great Balls of Fire.

"Be my friend or face the consequences!"

Betty the Yeti

Betty the Yeti is a strange character. She looks somewhat fierce and creepy. And she is, unless you be her friend. If you are Betty's friend, she'll be very friendly and playful, and even protect you.

However, if you reject Betty's offer to be friends, you could be in danger for the rest of your life. Betty the Yeti's motto is "Be my friend or face the consequences!" You'd better be her friend.

Movies Betty the Yeti appears in: Great Balls of Fire, Miner Bob's Adventure, Deranged Lego Movie.

"The innocent little minks in the fur farm need my help! Just don't let them bite me."

PETA guy

You'd better watch out, PETA guy isn't afraid to beat you up with that "fur is murder" sign if he catches you wearing a fur coat!

His mission in life is to protect all animals... That is, unless the animal he's trying to protect is attacking him, then he uses his "fur is murder" sign as a form of self defense.

Movies PETA guy appears in: Deranged Lego Movie, Deranged Lego Movie 2.

"It t'was...The Animator!"

Stormy the Storm Trooper

Although he doesn't say much, he was kind enough to replace Dorothy in The Deranged Lego Movie when she was temporarily misplaced by The Animator. He also did a nice break dancing routine in A Robotic Music Video. Who knew Storm Troopers were so talented?

And he looks really freaky without his helmet on. But don't tell him that.

Movies Stormy appears in: Robotic Music Video, Deranged Lego Movie.

"Yep. He's dead. What now?"

Scooter and Moron

Their just a couple of Lego Rednecks, who always enjoy a day out in the backwoods where they can shoot at deer, squirrels, turkeys, and each other...

Movies Scooter and Moron appear in:
Hunting with Lego Rednecks and why You Shouldn't Do It.
